HOT Fishing Offshore

We're getting to that time of the year where offshore charter fishing really heats up right along with the weather. Gag grouper and red snapper will be opening June 1st. Mahi-Mahi will also start showing up offshore 30 miles and further with some blackfin tuna mixed-in. So what can you expect to keep in the next few months if you bottom fish. Here's the line-up: red grouper, red snapper, gag grouper, mangrove snapper, lane snapper, scamp grouper. For top-water here's the line-up: Mahi-Mahi, blackfin tuna, sailfish, cobia and kingfish. So if you were thinking about fishing offshore, NOW is the best time of the year. For best results 8-12hr trips are recommend. The longer the trip, the bigger the fish.
