I will start off by telling you that this year has been the best year for fall grouper fishing and it is getting better by the day.proably the best I have seen in the last 6 years. The fall gag grouper fishing has been pretty bleak since the red tide back in, 2004, 2005? I have heard it said that three years after red tide grouper fishing is at its peak, I can't say why but that seems to be working out this year. Most of the fish I have caught have been in the 45 -60 foot range which is about ten to fifteen miles offshore, The funny thing is, grouper generally don't bite good inshore until the weather gets cold. Does that mean that after a few cold fronts blow through and cool down the water temp into the low seventies that fishing will get better. I don't know but I am happy with the bite now. Keep an eye on photo Gallary to see what we have been catching.
Spanish mackerel and kingfish are still around just about everywhere along the beach's but the best bet so far has been on all of the artificial reefs nearshore.
